ONEIRO: Band of kings. Sort of.
ONEIRO come from the sleepy Devonshire town of Ivybridge... most of the time. The band's current lineup came about in 2004 - and they quickly established themselves as ... well, drunkards, for the most part. But musicians now and again - writing glorious songs, revering the wonders of nature.

Or possibly just nightmarish rantings spawned from cheese-induced bad dreams.
Either way... it could be worse.
WHO'S WHO?
ONEIRO consists of four wildly unkempt maniacs. Let us introduce you:
Pete Downing
Pete is the supremo guitarissimo of ONEIRO, and one of the founding members. He wields his Les Paul (copy) and Fender Strat with almost reverential pride. Likes gloves.
John Hutchings
Bass Player extraordinaire, and the next Flea. But with hair. Lots of it. John's diminishing sanity had been linked to his hair growth... perhaps his mind is being siphoned into it? Does this mean that John's hair, when eaten, is a cure for crazy people? Who knows?
Dan Cottle
ONEIRO's resident screecher, Dan belts out random songs at the most inappropriate moments. When ONEIRO realised his potential, they used his tuneful Tourette's for good and thrust him into the limelight as a frontman.
David 'Shammy' Samuels
David's universal love of hitting stuff meant only one obvious career route - the Path of the Drummer. His natural rhythm shone through almost as much as his in-built fury at the world in general: as a founding member of ONEIRO, David's gained full smashing stuff up rights at the jam pad.

Bio: Im the baby of the band i do tend to act it as well. Ive only been playing drums about 11 months but i always skipped lessons to play. Guess i had my priorities straight. Playing live is the greatest buzz although i do have to neck vodka to kill off my stage fright. I dream of playing at Wembley, Madison Square Gardens and Le Zenith but that may be a few years away yet and doubtless a lot of therapy. Hasta la Victoria Siempre

Bio: The band's old fart, a few months older than the others. I enjoy singing, so much so that I'm often told to shut up... but thankfully I never listen to what displeases me! I was surprised that Oneiro actually wanted me to sing for them, as I thought I was muscling in... boy, was my thunder stolen!

Bio: Well, I guess I'm the one you can blame. Sat in my room after a couple of beers, I say to Sham. "Shammy, lets start a rock'n'roll band". "Ok" he says, and the rest as they say is history. All I can say is that unless it's us 4, there would never be a band. Theres something about the group dynamics that means this could only work if it was the 4 of us. I like to think up good music and play it live. All I've ever wanted to do. And it's all I ever plan to do. So even if it's me plucking on my six string you'll still get a performance. Come to our gigs or else I'll hunt you down and kill you!!!
